Enhanced Web Support Portal Customization

The best place to offer help is within the app, but your web supplement is important too. Admins now have more control and customization of their Web Support Portal with the ability to change the way their Apps and supported Platforms are displayed in their Web Support Portal.

Our latest enhancement to the Web Support Settings now allows Admins to change the order in which the Apps and Platforms appear in the Web Support Portal. Admins can also hide certain Apps and Platforms from displaying. This is increasingly useful should your team be working on a knowledge base for a new App which has not yet gone public.

Under the Settings tab, you’ll find a new section titled ‘Support Settings’ which houses the following tabs:

  • Web Support Portal
  • Email Support
  • Customer Satisfaction Survey

Please note: No changes have been made to the Email Support and Customer Satisfaction Survey settings, but we have simply separated them for your organizational purposes.

How it Works

Click on ‘Web Support Portal’ in order to change the App Order and Visibility as well as Platform Order, and to generate your Web Support Portal Link + Embed Code.

Apps Order and Platforms Visibility

In this section, Admins can change the order in which Apps are shown in the App dropdown in the Web Support Portal. Here, Admins can also choose what platforms of an app should be visible.

Click on the “Edit order and visibility” button to reorder Apps and select Platform visibility.

If you want to hide an app, simply uncheck all of the Platform boxes until it says ‘Hidden’:

Once you’ve made your changes, click ‘Save Changes.’

Platforms Order

If you would like to configure the order of the platforms on the Platform drop down of your Web Support Portal, click on the ‘Edit platforms order’ button.

Click and drag each platform to rearrange in the order you’d like and click on ‘Save Changes.’

After you’ve made the updates to your Web Support portal, click on the Generate Link & Embed Code button to embed it in your website. Take a look at our Support Portal Guide for more details.
