Today, we are releasing a new feature that will help you stay organized while using Helpshift. With Smart View Folders, you can group related Smart Views in a single Folder for easy access.
Smart View Folders are simply folders that contain Smart Views. They are used for organizational purposes and are most helpful when you are trying to organize many Smart Views.
Smart View Folders can be used in conjunction with Shared Smart Views or My Smart Views. Folders are “local” to each user. That is, if you create a Smart View Folder to organize your views, these Folders will not be shared with anyone else.
How Can I Use Smart View Folders?
We know that every support team is run differently, and we intentionally designed Smart View Folders to handle a variety of use-cases.
For example, if you organize your Agents by language, then you can create a “Language” Folder that contains all of your supported languages (e.g. English, Spanish, French, etc.).
Alternatively, if you have multiple apps, you can create Folders for each of your apps. Within these Folders, you can create Smart Views to prioritize your issues. For example, you can create a “Paid” Smart View and “Free” Smart View for each app. This way, you will be able to easily view all the issues filed by paid users under each all of your apps.
Get Started Today
Start by going to your Issues tab in Helpshift. Click on the manage button located beside Shared Smart Views or My Smart Views.
Add a title for your Smart View Folder and click (+).
Populate your newly created Smart View Folder, by clicking the “Change Order” button and simply drag and drop Smart Views into the Folder.
Once you’ve added Smart Views to Folders, you can expand or collapse the Folder to show its contents.
