Helpshift + BugSense = magical product insight

We’re pleased to announce that Helpshift and BugSense have integrated to provide app creators with new product insights.
BugSense is a leader in crash reports and operational intelligence and beginning today, our joint customers will be able to ensure the quality of their mobile apps from both a technical and user experience perspective.
The latest BugSense SDK (version 3.5) includes a new callback feature that lets you know whether a user had a crash in the previous session and how many crashes a user has experienced to date. With Helpshift, you can use this information to proactively reach out to your customers and manage communication about negative experiences — you can reach your users before they head to the App store and write a bad comment or complain on social media.
By utilizing both BugSense and Helpshift, you can customize how you communicate with users in-app after they experience crashes. You decide what makes sense for you, whether you reach out after the first crash, after the second crash, or after every crash, and so on.
And best of all, integration takes less than 10 minutes!
To get started, sign up for BugSense and Helpshift and write the following lines of code: https://gist.github.com/PanosJee/6157043 (iOS).
Talk to your users in-app
Once you’ve integrated the new SDK, you can prompt your users to send you a message after they’ve experienced a crash. This feedback will be sent directly to you.
You can communicate with your customers to provide details about bugs, offer solutions, and receive feedback directly within the Helpshift agent dashboard. Your replies appear to users as an in-app message.
With Helpshift, your customers will receive an unparalleled level of customer service and support directly inside your app — no need to send them to a support email or phone number.
To follow up, you login to your Helpshift dashboard and reply to your users — simple!
Clicking into custom data for the user, you’ll see a link to your BugSense error page to review the details of the crash. Once the bug is resolved, you can close the loop and let your users know the new version has solved the problem.
We’re excited about our new partnership with BugSense. We share a common vision of making mobile a better place for developers and their users. Stay tuned for more news and deeper integrations between Helpshift and BugSense.
