Share Your Knowledge Base on Social Media

In an increased effort to promote proactivity and ticket deflection, our latest enhancement allows you to share your FAQs with an Image or Video on Social Media platforms such as Facebook.

Previously, if you had a known issue or an announcement and wished to tell your community by sharing a relevant FAQ, only a text description would show (even if that FAQ contained an Image or Video).

Our latest provision lets you upload an FAQ to your Facebook wall and displays the name of your App, the Title of the FAQ, and the Image or Video within the FAQ. If your FAQ does not have an image, then the image of your App will be displayed.

This is particularly helpful if you’ve just released a version of your app and realize afterward that there is some sort of visual bug or crash. Instead of having your users file a number of Issues about this bug, you create an FAQ in your ‘Known Issues’ section describing what is wrong, an image or video on how to replicate, and the planned fix for your next release.

By sharing the link to this FAQ on your Facebook page, your Facebook Community is informed that there is a problem and that you are already planning on fixing the Issue.

If there is ever an edit made to an FAQ you’ve already posted or you change the image, go to your Object Debug Developers section on Facebook and enter the URL to the FAQ. By clicking on ‘Fetch new scrape information’ button, the newer image will be fetched and will appear in the new post.
